This study investigates the effects of different policies on the feasibility of residential photovoltaic and wind turbine investment in different cities of Iran.
As this figure shows, the PBY of the project can be declined to about 4 years if the investment cost of PV and battery face a 20% decrement. Meanwhile, the IRR also reaches about 55% which is an acceptable value from an investor's standpoint.
The overall investment required for this solar power project is estimated at around 4.585 billion yuan. Out of this total cost, 3.897 billion yuan will be sourced through foreign financing—accounting for approximately 85% of the entire project’s budget.
